After losing 20 lbs

I’ve lost 20 lbs in 1.5 months thanks to Ron. I don’t have much time to workout at the gym with a personal trainer (I work out at lunch) so I really value and learn so much from our coaching calls. They really help me stay on track.

Ron’s teachings are so intuitive and fit in perfectly with my hectic lifestyle…no hardcore dieting, no crazy-long workouts, just simple and easy-to-follow guidelines. I still get to choose what I want (and don’t want) to eat!

As a father of 3 year old, I hardly have the time and energy to workout everyday, but I learned how to be efficient in my workouts (without overdoing it) and how to eat well and lose weight. I feel incredible and have a lot more energy during the day.

Thanks Ron…I’m looking forward to losing another 15 pounds!

Ron’s training sessions are off-the-wall.  As a coach, he brings a tremendous amount of energy and excitement to the routines. He has created different 30-minute circuits for me that are challenging, efficient and actually fun.  I have weight trained and exercised on and off throughout the years, but I can honestly say that I haven’t had this much fun getting back into shape.  I’m married with two young children and finding the time to get to the gym is always challenging.  Many mornings I probably would have stayed in bed but knowing that I had a session with Ron got me out the door.  He makes each workout challenging but is extremely supportive and motivational to work with.  Not only has he coached me to reach my fitness goals but he has helped me to clean up my diet which was a significant factor in my weightloss.  Before I started training with Ron I felt tired all of the time and was frustrated with my weight.  Today, I have more energy than I did in my 20’s and I’m able to keep up with my busy life and busy family!

My name is Gwen Blackburn, I am a busy mother of three small children. I’ve struggled with losing weight for years and tried every fad diet and diet pills and nothing seemed to help me lose weight or make me feel energized. One day, I sat down to read the Brantford weekender and noticed an ad for a FREE Sensational Saturday low impact bootcamp with a personal trainer, Ron Mourra. I’ve always wanted a personal trainer to coach me along but never knew who to get or what it would be like. What a great opportunity to check and see what a personal trainer is all about. I attended the bootcamp and loved it from the very first day. Ron talked about how important nutrition was in successful weight loss. He in fact stressed that you don’t need to over due the exercising if you concentrate on your nutrition. I ran with that advise because being a mother of three children in sports I didn’t have many hours to devote to working out. After only 4 sessions combining nutrition with this single 1 hour workout I lost 9lbs. I decided to speak with Ron about signing on with him at Build Mourra Muscle. I thought there was no way I would be able to afford a personal trainer but after meeting with Ron I learned that my health is worth the investment. It surprised me that Ron had different packages to choose from to fit everybody’s budget. I signed up and was on my way…

I started with Ron 3 times a week, twice at the gym, where we would do the majority of our workout outdoors, and once at my home. Having the flexibility to work out in my own backyard was amazing. It not only showed me that you don’t need an expensive gym membership but that working out outdoors was a great feeling and soaking up that vitamin D made me feel rejuvenated. I continue to look forward to my work outs with Ron because he is so motivational. If I’ve had an “off” week Ron pumps me right back up to be excited to get back on track. I’ve lost a total of 20lbs with Ron’s coaching. I’ve tried to lose weight on my own even working out 4-5 times a week and didn’t have the success. I’ve come to realize that I needed some advise on nutrition and some motivational coaching, which Ron provided to me. If I was looking for a low fat/calorie product Ron would research that for me and have an answer by the next session.

Ron has been a great inspiration to working out and losing weight. He has taught me that nutrition is of the utmost importance when trying to lose weight and you don’t have to dedicate every day to working out. I worked out approximately 3 times a week for 45 minutes at a time and lost 20 lbs in 10weeks. When I would miss workouts through the week but continued to eat well and make healthy choices I would still lose on the scale which proved to me that you can make a big difference with little exercise. I would recommend to anybody to invest in your health and sign on with Ron Mourra. Ron is so motivational and never discourages you even if you feel like you’ve had a bad week. Ron pumps you up even if you think you can’t do any more he makes you realize you can.

I am proof that a coach and proper advise on nutrition will give you success in weight loss.
