Lean+Fit+Healthy Approved Burgers| Summer BBQ TIP

Yo Dudes,

Now that the first long weekend is behind us it’s important to learn a few tricks of the trade that go a long way over time in terms of getting Lean+Fit+Healthy. Like most of you there is nothing that I enjoy more than hanging with great friends and family, sparking up the Q, while having some cold POPS. Depending on what you put on that BBQ can be one of your biggest set-back and barriers to getting Lean+Fit+Healthy.

Today I share with you what I ate over the long weekend. You will be surprised because I didn’t sacrifice taste or quality and still managed to save 200-250 calories. Enjoy the video and as always I invite feedback and comments.

Hope you take this tip and run with it over the summer. Personally being in the industry for 10 years, in my humble opinion the hardest time of the year get in or stay in great shape is the summer. BBQ, Patios, and summer events can wreck havoc on your goals if you don’t prepare and have a GAME PLAN. Keep in mind, “If you FAIL to PREPARE, then PREPARE TO FAIL”

Chin Ups and Pull Ups: Get them in Ya!

In today’s post I will show Yalls 2 great exercises that you need to get into your routine. Chin Ups and Pull Ups are fantastic exercises for the upper body and core. The next time you go to the gym I want you to look around and observe the exercises people perform. I will bet my bottom dollar that you won’t find many if any doing Chin Ups or Pull Ups (unless you are at the MOURRA Underground, we eat Chin Ups and Pull Ups for Breakfast). Give them and try you will quickly realize that they are tough to do.

In the video below I show you many variations so start with the one you are comfortable with and focus on perfect technique. Even if you can only do 1 Chin Up, that is a start. Enjoy the Video and get these exercises in ya, they’re DYNAMITE!

Remember to keep your abs braced throughout the motion (imagine someone is going to punch you in the stomach). Happy Chin Up and Pull Ups

Eat Pizza and Get Lean-Fit-Healthy?

This post is a gem, I filmed this episode a few weeks ago and now is the time to unveil it. Okay, are you guys ready for this? You can eat Pizza and stay lean-fit-healthy. Repeat after me, ‘I can eat Pizza and Stay Lean-Fit-Healthy’. The idea of eliminating all the foods you enjoy in order to get in great shape just cracks me up. It reminds me of the saying ‘You can’t have your Cake and eat it too’. I never did get that quote? Why would you have cake if you can’t eat it. Also, what happens to the cake? Okay I digress, check out this great pizza in the video below and get ready for your taste buds to be tantalised!

Coming at Ya on the run between clients. I was just at the mall getting some things and I was in a hurry. I started to get hungry and I didn’t want to give into the food court. Has this ever happened to you? In this video I show you a great snack that you can get from Shoppers, Supplement Store or Grocery Store.

Insider Secrets to a Beach Body | Eating on the run, where do I eat?

Coming at ya from my car with my first episode of Insider Secrets to a Beach Body. When you are out and about and need a great breakfast to start your day, did you know that subway offers some healthy options.

In this video I give you some tips on what to get and in my case I used it as my post workout meal. Check it out Yalls!

There you have it folks, my Lean-Fit-Healthy is all about variety , convenience, and common sense. At the end of the day your fitness and meal plan should be a part of your routine and suite your lifestyle and it shouldn’t run you life.
