LFH Coaching Principle – Process vs Outcome Goals

As January comes to an end it is important that we stay FOCUSED and build momentum into February. This is a critical time when most people give up on their fitness endeavours. To help you stay on track, today I share a coaching principle that in my Humble Opinion can help you get through a plateau or barrier. So take out a pen, piece of paper and 4 minutes of your undivided attention!
Whenever you set a goal and try to achieve it, it is important to understand the difference between PROCESS and OUTCOME Goals. Time and time again I see individuals set themselves up for failure by focusing on the wrong things (scale – outcome goals). In my practise and when I coach clients I get my clients to focus on the PROCESS goals that will lead them to their OUTCOME goals.
